We completed
the restoration in June 2004 and managed to visit a few events showing
off the S1 in all it's glory, we went to FordFair and Trax and several
other events. But as you know owning a restored car is a work in progress
the page below details the work we have carried on the car, also covering
the photoshoot with performance ford.

| In January we were asked if Performance Ford Mag could
use the S1 for reference for a buyers guide, we didn't want to miss
that one and even with the cold wet weather and long drive down to
London in prospect we agreed, we thought this would capture the S1
soon after completion as it was flawless. The Trip went fine and the
series one drove really well the only problem was the heavens opened
on the return journey and the car was absolutely covered with salt
and crap from the road. This resulted in a 3 week cleaning program
to get it back to the standard it had to be. a few weeks work underneath
a series one .. not much of a social life! But the car is made to
be driven and we don't want to trailer it everywhere and treat it
