Fords
most potent offering for several years - the ford focus rs, the project
has hit delay after delay. The last we heard there were problems with
the manifold.
With
the early demise of the last production rs the delay of focus is even
more frustrating. There have been several fords worthy of the rs badge
over the past few years - the st200, the racing puma.
It
seemed like ford were trying to kill the rs brand but the the focus
rs and the focus cosworth we are a biting our nails ... at this rate
we will all have little stubs for fingers. We have spoken to several
people who have become tired of waiting for the new rs and asked for
their deposits back, we say wait, from what we have heard it's going
to set a the new benchmark for the rs legend.

Ok,
first things first, why the series one? - well it's our all
time favourite rs there is something about it that just gets better
with age judging by your response (check the poll) it's one of yours
too, so this is the first choice for a project car. The picture
above believe it or not is the car before restoration.
The car is very tidy indeed, it stands us at a few big ones before
we lift a spanner or our cheque book :). It's all good - hpi clear,
fsh etc. an excellent basis for our project. You can follow the

Participation is good we need advice, we need help, been there done
that well let us know. Its a massive job and and information such
as tuning advice and a good source for parts etc. We really need
this advice to stand a chance of getting it back on the road for
at least some of the year, before winter kick in and the covers
go back on!
