Next test will be on the Wash 'n' Wax!

Ever heard of "Rallywash", nope? neither had we so when Craig and Andrew from Alliance Technology aproached us to test their products we were a little skeptical as to the effectiveness of this new product. When I say new it's new to me, it's been the rally worlds best kept secret .. as we discovered when we gave it a road test.

Who are Alliance Technology?
Andrew: "Alliance Technology Ltd has been around for about 10 years and it's principal activity is to develop high quality chemical specialities for end-users and distributors.
We operate in a number of sectors; engineering, transport, hygiene and infection control being the main ones. In the past we have developed products that have been used in the manufacture of cruise missiles and the space shuttle to specialist cleaners for rally teams"

So what applications is Rallywash Designed for?

Craig: In answer to your question regarding what the product is, it is a car traffic film remover cleaner and conditioner. Effectively it is formulated to clean the car under the most difficult circumstances without removing polish or dulling the paintwork or damaging decals.

Rallywash was developed for a UK based team and, as I am sure you will appreciate, they wanted some particularly demanding specifications.

The request was that we should develop a product that was mild, however it should remove difficult and tenacious soiling, it should be able to be used through a pressure washer and also a bucket and a sponge, it should also help maintain a polished shine and it should disperse quickly without streaking. Also it should work quickly. It took six months of trials to sort this out, however at the end of it all they had a product that they were delighted with.

How did Rallywash come about?
Andrew: The reason we decided to make this product available to the public was down to Craig's enthusiasm. Craig owns the cleanest car in Sheffield and he is an auto-enthusiast. When he used the product for himself he thought it was so good he went and told all his friends about it and it started from there. If you want to know how keen Craig is on performance vehicles he is close to completing a project where he and his friends have built a jet engine and they are mounting it on a go kart. I've seen video footage of this thing and it's as stupid as it is awesome. I believe that Craig is going to be the test pilot.

After hearing what Andrew and Craig had to say, we decided to give it a hard test on our Racing Puma, hard because most washes fail to meet the key factors required to quickly clean our daily runner. 1, residue is not an option! and 2, it has to be potent enough to clean up the alloys, which with their thin spokes and big brakes get really caked in dust and road residue.

As you can see from the pictures and video footage this stuff really kicks ass, and really cleans off the daily crap without much elbow grease ... we cleaned the whole car and took the pictures and movie in less time than it normally takes with no interuptions. It made light work of our cat as you would expect its made for a much more demanding environment.

Amazing stuff!!!
