This
is the single most important job the get right, if the paint is
wrong then it will never be perfect no matter how much you do
to the car.
The paint was applied in 3 stages.
1) The chassis was coated in primer the flatted again, then sprayed
with 2 pack paint then baked. This took a while as there are problems
with spraying in a booth with the car side on.
2) The arches and interior get their final coats and the exterior
gets in primary coat.
3) The whole exerior is then light flatted again and then the
final coat is applied and the give the best finish possible is
baked overnight.

As I am sure you will agree the results are superb. The pictures
just don't do the finish justice, it really does have to be seen
to be believed.
So now we have a better than new shell ready for the rebuild.
We cannot wait ... but will we make 2003 shows? ... hope so.
This is where the nasty time consuming jobs are done and the fun
can begin.
